As a kid I used to walk to the library to rent the crow soundtrack just to hear this song while I did my homework:) All the other songs on the tape kick ass too but something about this song!
@Glopdemon Жыл бұрын
This is one from that album that I always skipped over and I don’t know why. I guess I just wasn’t ready for it, and that’s a shame. Better late than never!
@TheErikrust Жыл бұрын
First time I ever heard them was on The Crow soundtrack too. Ended up changing my life. One of my favorite bands to this day.

Best damn feedback since Hendrix...fact.
@sergiocosta_19753 жыл бұрын
Even better
@Jtdubbzz2 жыл бұрын
@brad davidson in other words, what you’re saying is because essentially all he’s using is some distortion, reverb and a wah pedal to achieve this sound, even a baby seal could do this… with enough money, booze and tight undies.

GREAT FUCKING BAND. great feedback, as close to hendrix as there is. Wonderful expression of noise
@jimmypopt.v.30377 жыл бұрын
Never heard a band with such a downright filthy/sleazy sound and vibe. This is the height of the pissed up, insouciant era. Jim has a "Don`t give a fuck" attitude that Liam would kill for.
@thewhiteelephant7 жыл бұрын
Jimmy Pop t.v. If you want something similar, check out BRMC. No one does Jesus and Mary Chain better than Jesus and Mary Chain, though.

I got their debut in 2002 and saw them half a dozen times orso in England. They were good, solid, cool and had some good songs but i kinda lost track of the m after their 2nd album.

i guess singing with your mic unplugged is kind of the height of dont give a fuck

@@JamesCurtisOKC It was unplugged for about 28 seconds, when the band jam out anyway.- And yeah it still is. Oohhhh give me Muse.

I've seen them twice in June. They're on a whole different level than any other band, it's unreal. I'm willing to put them next to The Kinks and The Ramones. The songwriting is off the charts.

I agree. Docs could last up to ten years back then but now. You are lucky if you get 3 years out of a pair.
@ModMokkaMatti3 жыл бұрын
A lot of things were of much realer quality back then. Try playing the Mary Chain through any contemporary cheap-ass mass-market system, and it's going to rattle itself and everything in proximity to it apart.

Wow first thank you Colin for uploading this amazing version I first heard a 12" extend mix of Hit in '85 ,then Pcandy, But This Version is a perfect balance of grizzly FU attitude & that level of distortion Always makes Me 🤪& I could comment on so many of the comments I guess the comparison to VU sister Ray another great band from that era as a live album from 85 echo and the bunny man does practically a whole album of Velvet underground with the occasional Stones tune thrown in there but anyway amazing thank you made my day everybody I wish you all lucid dreams tonight
