Rattlesnake Gets Caught in the Screen Door

Hi, Nikolaus! & Bryce, what a beautiful gopher snake!! We live in nice, snaky habitat in Southern California. Yard is xeriscaped. But very small front yard, so I've seen a couple of young rattlesnakes in the yard since we moved here in '98. Saw them while we were hiking next door, back when I was able. One really large, gorgeous one was crossing the wide trail, going from dense brush to dense brush. So cool!
