To make future runs not as painful for everyone else. 1) Kantus are pains but they aren't as bad so long as you take out the tickers 2) gorgon pistols are great against wretches and tickers. 3) use a boom shield when possible. 4) avoid everything that snam does.

Gears 2 isn't even that bad. My opinion it is the best game in the series. Just from the short snips it looked like he was playing far too aggressively. Wait till he does gears 4. It has some ridiculous sequences and the checkpoints are horrendous. Juvies completely ruin being able to use cover. And the wave sequences are just crazy hard in some places.

Gears of War 2 is one of the best videogame sequels of all time if we compare it to the first game (which was already great). Also 15 years later it still has one of the most brilliant, tragic cutscenes I've ever seen in a videogame: Dom finding Maria. Gives me chills and gets me a bit emotional every time. Homie goes through multiple stages of grief in about a minute.

Because of watching your series, I actually went through the first three games with a friend on insane and we just beat gears 3 with a third person which was one of the most fun and difficult experiences in gaming I’ve had in a hot minute. At the end we had 654 deaths in total for gears three and we’re now moving to 4. Thank you for doing this and sparking this idea with my friends and me. 4 will be interesting, considering I found out there is a difficulty beyond insane. I can explain the weird shit with the chainsaw. So in Gears 2 if you are too close to an enemy and you hold b it will make you character back up. The only reason I can think of as to why this is a mechanic is that it would be op in multiplayer so they made it so there is a minimum distance. The reason it didn’t work for the sire section was because the sire hit you and stopped your chainsaw and then you were too close to chainsaw again. The worm section I think a creature was behind you as your allies were shooting at you so you were too close to chainsaw the membrane.
