Here's the thing, you were very hesitant and neglected to mention the price of the Snap-On creeper. Its $406 on their website today. More than double the price of Cornwell creeper. You bought one creeper for the price of two and got a lifetime warranty. Congratulations.

You realize this is a 5 or 6yr old vid... so listed price on snapon has doubled since i got it

I have that snap on creeper. I bought it about 20 years ago. I bought it on the truck and made payments on it along with my Snap On box. Mine doesn't have the adjustable head rest though. I am a big dude, and it still works like new. And it rolls across things other creepers get hung up on.

I don't do enough car repairs to need a creeper. I mainly just use ramps when I change my oil and a jack and jack stand when I change my brake pads. Good to know if I even need a creeper though...although if I need to be creeped out, I just watch a brew review...lol

Wasnt too much of a difference in price from the creepers back when i got that cornwell one, but cornwell was only dealer allowed into that particular penske shop i was at when i bought it for 180ish before taxes.

Weird. Cornwell warranted my 3 year old creeper. Question though. Not it’s been time. Is that snap on creeper worth it
@BeardedSeabee8223 күн бұрын
To me, for the little bit more I paid for it, yes, wprth it. And the fact we cant getba cornwell rep to last longer than a few months in the area... well warranty wise, you have a good sales rep, but my snap on guy is pretty good too. So, i did spend a little more, but i am able to warranty things out should I need.

All you're doing by paying more is pre-paying on the warranty. If a tool company offers a lifetime warranty on a creeper or a drill bit set, they know you're going to wear it out so if you're paying double or more for the lifetime warranty, you're paying for that, it's not free...nothing is free
@BeardedSeabee824 жыл бұрын
Cost difference between the 2 creepers wasnt all that much, like 20 or 30 orso bucks, worth it when whiteside casters are 24 bucks a peice for that particular creeper on their website

I’ve got the Pittsburgh creeper. It’s ok for $20, gettin me through. Got a coworker that has an ATD that is big, longer than 40 inches, and it is comfortable. Never used a padded creeper, but I’ve thought about it. SnapOn has that 100th anniversary one that looks pretty nice.
@BeardedSeabee824 жыл бұрын
I havent seen pics of the 100th anniversary one yet, will have to check it out, but true, over time, as you get older in this industry comfort may take precendence over affordability, but it will come as you later try more things out and figure that which does work best for you as well. thank you for watching!

I hear ya man, I'm also getting to that age where spending a little more up front to save wear and tear on the body is absolutely worth it. Nice Snap-on creeper, I like the camo.

Snap-On - Matco and MAC is the only way to go. One will spend a lifetime (spending TIME off and Fuel cost) replacing the garbage lifetime warranty from Wharf Freight and other shyster places.
@BeardedSeabee825 жыл бұрын
yup, did that a few times when only harbor freight close was 45 mins to hour away on other side of town, spent more in gas to warranty said items than what they had cost new all together before i said f' that and just shelled out cash on tool truck.

Providing you have a guy. If you don't work in a shop that they stop into all of the time they really don't want to deal with you. So my broken Snap On tools just sit in my box.
@BeardedSeabee825 жыл бұрын
this is a true factor, however if there are tools that need warrantied i am sure we can get ahold of snap on corporate and figure something up or find a guy up that neck of woods perhaps, lemme know!

Also looking at cornwells policy for that creeper, was 90 days... then when i looked at repair parts from mfr, yup, was way mpre cost effective just to get new, but true if i had local dealer here that wouldve been able to at least work something , indeed wouldve been better.
