At that time in the 90s when we did a TV show, they would use playback and didn't let the singer sing live, but what usually happened was they wouldn't incorporate the video and audio correctly, so the final product would look like the singer is out of sync.

They don’t know that sometimes you show up at these TV shows and they already have a mix that fits in with their programming... @@boxingchampfd Thank you. It's nice to see that we had an influence on your dance career. Leon and I grew up in the Bronx at the dawn of breakdancing, we started dancing around 1982 or 83. I had some of the best experiences of my life dancing, we danced with Kurtis Blow in the Movie Crush Groove and traveled the world with Turbo and Penny. Turbo and I were in the same Army unit in Germany, we use to do shows before the whole Snap thing happened. I'll try to post some old video of Turbo and me in Germany doing shows. Thanks again, keep moving stay young.

I wonder why the magic of Snap only lasted from 1990 - 92. Snap was so huge in the US, UK and Germany back in the days and everyone was talking about Snap, before the producers decided to make crappy trance and Euro dance music. For me, Snap will always be associated with you Turbo B and Jackie Harris. This song will always be one of my all time favourites.

The controversial thing about this song is that Penny isn’t the real voice on this track when she sings the line...”I’ve got the power”. They say that it’s a heavy set African American woman. She herself came forward in an interview and spilled the beans about the whole vocal sample stealing scandal. Snap! supposedly hired her to be the lead female vocalist for their group, but later on after all of their work recording quickly dropped/fired her due to the fact of “wrong imagery” **basically calling her too fat/huge/big** to be the leading front lady. Then hired Penny to take her place, but they never scraped that vocal work that they recorded with the original female lead. Instead Snap! decided to keep it and just have Penny lip sink in the video and any other time that they did live performances. Crazy story huh?
