The funniest part about the piledriver bit is that WWE has had that move banned for nearly 20 years, meaning that only a few characters would have it in their arsenal, and it certainly wouldn't be part of the default CAW moveset. Penny got screwed.

I think my biggest gripe with r/AITA is that everytime someone has a relationship problem, they always call for breakup/divorce. It doesn't matter if the OP of the post only had a single fight with their partner of 10 years, Reddit will call for the end of that relationship and downvote anyone who even tries to give a remotely nuanced response

sometimes it's just bc the "single fight" was so dramatic/violent that it's a legit sign of abuse (i.e. "my husband's been nice for 10 years but tonight i refused to wear the dress he wanted me to wear to dinner so he destroyed everything else in my closet in response). It's easy for abusers to act nice for long enough that when they do snap, the person they're abusing is like "well they've never been like this, clearly this is my fault". plus most breakup comments i've seen start with "i hate it when people on AITA go straight for the breakup option, buuutt..." it's almost a meme now lol

The lack of nuance is what drove me away from commenting there. Someone accused me of being practically an animal abuser for trying to help a 19-year-old guy approach a conversation with his 18yo girlfriend after she was cruel to her family dog... because they didn't want to think a 'moral' person was capable of hurting an animal, or even sympathizing with someone who has or seeing the (flawed) reasoning behind an act of animal cruelty. It was so much easier to just paint her as the villain and irredeemable. But especially given the couple's age, I really didn't feel that was the correct approach and it really hurt to be attacked for trying to help that kid.
@pennysantana247
@pennysantana247 Жыл бұрын
A lot of those comments are deserved though. They usually appear under posts detailing stories like "married to my wife for years and never saw her as a violent person, today she did a horribly abusive thing, i called her out and she called me an asshole" or something similar, where they actually did something horrible and staying in a relationship with a person like that isn't healthy. Plus, it's better than people who encourage people to stay in unhappy marriages with people they hate which is ALL over straight culture

watching this live it was extremely funny when the majority of chat was chanting NTA while they were reading the harvard kid one and then reversed positions after the match when penny and pat made it clear they were rooting for the guy.

No way, you got Nega Brian David Gilbert on your stream!? In all seriousness, I'm very excited for this collaboration. You're hilarious as ever (I'm sure, haven't watched this yet) but it's such a treat to see Pat Gill do something outside of Polygon.

Absolutely amazing, this is untapped territory 🤣🤣🤣 16:41 "takes flight" 19:21 my dad fell off a ladder from probably just under 2m of height in front of me and broke his ribs. he wanted me to clean out a clogged drain on the roof, while it was pouring with rain, at 6AM. I was like "I'll go when I'm done with my cereal" (note, it wasn't an emergency). but his a stubborn and bullheaded asshole sometimes and went ahead to just do it himself while I pleaded with him not to. it was honestly traumatic. after he fell I again pleaded he go to the hospital. he denied that he was even hurt and again after _physically_ pushing him away from the ladder he wanted to go back up he went, took a shower while I was on the roof cleaning the drain, crying, he told me yes a broke his ribs. to this day I don't think he realized how freaking upset I was that day, I still had to go to work so I managed to joke about it with colleagues to get over it. but wtf is wrong with people sometimes?

It was a attempted German suplex into an arm drag counter!" 10:05 (she was close that time!) "Aughh, Penny! No... sorry." 17:10 "Uh, pretty close that time, that was a emeraldphlosion.
