Hi First of all good job to you I have 3 questions 1. Can the CNC cut Aluminum parts ?(2D or 3D) 2.do you have any application for iPad? 3. It’s good to Order custom parts ( I don’t need laser but I need “rotary module” ) ?

They do have the enclosure already, for early backers, I have it on my Snapmaker A150 and it has an extraction fan and flexible tube. The enclosure also has laser light protective sheeting and LED lighting. I have yet to get round to using it though honestly. Those other parts could be added later since the system is modular I guess, although probably only worth it on the larger models.

I have a cnc project that says 24hrs. Can I pause every 8 hrs and come back the next day to resume?

Yes, you can pause the project in Luban or touchscreen, then continue it at any time.

I am a beginner but very computer literate. I am just now setting up my machine but can't get the computer to read my machine. I even entered the ISP for my network and still get an "Error". Can anyone help?

Cant find a relief carving video, is it possible to rough carve with a thicker mill and then carve the finer parts with a thiner mill? does it luban automatically?

Hi Reinier, we currently provide 3 carving tool settings in Luban 3.8 corresponding to the 3 bits we provided with Snapmaker 2.0. You could select "Use Other Bit" at the Process page and customize your own bit if needed.

Nope. Snapmaker 2.0 doesn't support metal cutting for now.

Can I import .CatPart files from CATIA V5 and send to this Luban software? Can the printer carve complex surfaces, like a sphere? Or just in a plane?

The CNC g-code generator in the Luban software can only read image files like .svg, .bmf, etc for now. For the second question, we are now working on a 4th axis rotating add-on, so yes, it will be able to carve on a sphere in the near future.
