Funpaws TFM There was a Momo in Avatar the Last Airbender anime inspired nicktoon. He was something along the lines as knock off of Ghibli's fox squirrel Teito (Tato, Taito, Taeto? Not sure how it's spelled but from Nausica of the Valley of Wind and brief cameo in Laputa: Castle in the Sky). Momo is supposed to be a flying lemur, but he has bat ears and flaps of skin attaching his arms and body like a flying squirrel (similar to Rocket J. Squirrel from Rocky and Bullwinkle). And while cute I guess, reboot Snarf looks, acts, and sounds more like a Ryo-Oki clone from Tenchi Muyo except he isn't a cabbit (to my knowledge at least) and can't be used as a spaceship...

Part of what makes Snarf adorable isn't just because he looks cute and is more cat-like, plus doesn't speak like the rest of the heroes. His voice is done by famed Japanese seiyuu Satomi Koorogi, well-known for Menchi from Excel Saga.

i know things change and you gotta have an open mind and keep with the times and not in a nostalgic past generation and that this version is way better animated and has a better story or whatever..but seriously..what the fuck is this..why can't they just make a whole new cartoon and leave the classic shit alone..as a former 7 year old kid who used to wake up very early to watch mumm-ra invoke the ancient spirits of evil and thought snarf was useless and annoying: i do not appreciate this.
