Clearly Sweeney has seen the Cycle of Hatred. As corny as Naruto is, it does put a more grand perspective over villains who have done stuff and at some percentage, can be justified. While also being unfortunate that bad things happen and shouldn't to begin with, but Sweeney would also see why. It's not that he doesn't care, he just doesn't want that hatred to take over. And with two in the opposition, it's a bit hard to understand what Sweeney was going for.

I find really annoying hearing a discussion woth both sides having the "AH! I was joking, this was all a joke" card. The snarktank is so funny I can look past that lmao. Supressing the satisfaction of seing someone who sucks hurt or death isn't healthy, BUT choosing not to indulge in those feelings is. In those situations you say you don't care or crack a light hearted joke and that's it, doing more than that just speak poorly about yourself, and it does so because you suck.

I think Sweeney would be great at grifting. Perfect at it. He's constantly lying, never has the same opinion twice, loves talking over people, he always gives these fucking lawyer answers when asked a direct question like when chris says "in this scenario, would you feel relief?" He goes "i would be happy that she feels safe." Always nitpicking in order to weasel his way around shit, always pretending to concede a point so he can have another chance to talk more, usually to double down. I mean seriously i don't understand why he's wasting everyone's time by weighing down the snark tank. He should be on prageru or some shit.
