One of my favourite tunes from Snarky!!! I love how they grow and change their music when they perform it live. This has to be my favourite rendition of Binky, by far.... It's a flugelhorn. Same key and fingering as a trumpet, the curves aren't as sharp so it sounds more smooth and mellow.

HEY, I'm the dude with glasses that gets in focus at 2:58, right before the camera cut! 😁 Oh, this brings so many sweet memories! I was there in 2018 and it was AMAZING! The whole GUMFest was a blast, but to watch Snarky Puppy play in three consecutive nights was truly outstanding. It was one of my best musical and personal experiences, for sure!

Powerful as usual. I like it when you have all seats taken in horn section and when Bob Reynolds is around. Very similar lineup as in Bologna 24.4.2017. Michael even wore the same T-shirt (nr.10 Messi). Bob had a mindblowing 5 min solo that night on Lingus

@@bharris1trumpeter its all a matter of taste. With dirty bass most people propably expect a more crunchy growling and distorted sound. In this recording you have a clean p bass with the tone rollled completly back. That way it lacks a bit off definition in this track.
