One thing that I’m worried about is the entry line - do you remember what time you arrived and how long it took you to get to the registration booth? I don’t know how you did it in your costume! Yes, we would believe how hard it is to get into that cosplay. Michelle Pfeiffer had to be sewn into hers, and it impaired her breathing enough she could only shoot for a few minutes at a time.

Hi Jill, this was all sourced from different places: the base suit is from Miccostumes, the corset and boots were from amazon, the cowl was made by Reevzfx, and my claws were from Etsy.

I attend a convention called 'FanX' (Fan Experience) in Salt Lake City Utah. I go as "The Greatest American Hero", and the most fun I have, is wandering around, and having pictures taken. I have done photo-ops with celebrities, ($$$) and I do attend a lot of panels, but, roaming, and talking to people about my character, and often, their characters is the most fun I have at these 'comic con' type conventions. My costume is based on a red 'Morphsuit", and is super-comfortable, but, I have the opposite problem. When it's cold, it does nothing to keep me warm. When it's hot, it really helps make the heat more bearable.

I think I saw you on Saturday! I did not go up to you though. My friends and I got to the con early! (9am) And when the doors to the shopping floor opened, it was pretty cool. However as more people showed up, it got really hot. I was cosplaying as a Team Rocket grunt and my friend was dressed as Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts. We were both dying as the day went on. 🥵 Sorry I didn't come take a picture with you! Your Catwoman cosplay was awesome!😊

I've met with celebrities at comic-cons. My favorites being Adam West, Gil Gerard and Erin Grey, she was really nice and cute for an old lady, she told me she does yoga and meditation to stay healthy cause I noticed she was at her prime weight of about 120 lbs. Neal Adams sold me a Super-Man vs. Muhammad Ali comic book and signed it. R.I.P.

I hear you about the air conditioning problem at TBCC this year. A friend of mine and I were in full tactical uniforms as SHIELD Agents (we get confused for cops sometimes for some reason - LOL) and yeah we both noticed the lack of cool air on Saturday. You are quite the trooper for wearing your amazing Catwoman suit and I wish I had seen you in person. I spotted you in the distance at one point, but was unable to track you down to say hello. I hope to catch you next time since I’m from Orlando.

Your MP Catwoman cosplay is amazing. Great job! I've done event work in big places like that, and crazy as it may seem the air conditioning cost is sometimes extra. It's possible they were only running it during peak hours or in certain zones as a way to save money.

I'm planning on going this year. It looks like a few of the guests are only there on Friday only, which is kind of weird. I also expect the ac issue will still happen: it's FL, either they blast you or they keep it steamy. It'll be my first con and I'm really only going to see the guests from the Flash and LOTR. Funny enough, I'm actually taking my mom because one of the voice actor guests is from a soap opera she's watched for decades. I'll temper my expectations based on your recap here.

Have you never been to any con before? I mean megacon and comic con San Diego are huge but the gripes you have with tampa con would have been much worse at any con bigger. And as far as the heat… I mean yeah I’d opt in for more of a Harley Quinn cosplay short sleeves and a skirt. Just a logical decision. Not criticism of the con itself. They don’t control weather or how long like are…? I was just confused this whole video.

Yeah this TBCC this year was a little weird.. The workers were kinda awful, one girl at a booth started chasing my mother around that was recording the back of me because I was in cosplay. & tried telling her that she couldn’t take pictures or record in the convention.. which….. I’ve never heard before

I was there on Saturday as well. I had gotten my tickets in advance, so got to skip that horrible line. I agree with you about most of your complaints - the vendor floor heat, the crowds, the lines for even the crappiest looking foods. I remember that my friend and I saw you there.....and wanted a picture....but you were always in-demand. We even talked about how you....and several other costumed people were just dying of the heat. Towards the end of the day (I left early too, because I was hungry, hot and worn out), I hear the guy in the Rocket Racoon outfit remark under his suit how he didn't know how much longer he could take it underneath all that outfit. I do know that the crowds on the vendor floor really really thinned out around 4 pm....and it was much, much nicer. Great hearing about your experience!
