@unironicpanda10 ай бұрын
For anyone looking for amounts I remade the build using the same block palette. I tried my best to follow the video but I didn't do a block-by--block recreation. This mat list does not include the wooden walkway built in the video. This list is designed to give you an idea of how many blocks are needed, not the exact amount. Stone: this is mostly to build the platform the build stands on, but not needed if you aren't building the terrain. you will need a couple blocks to build the pillars shown at 1:53 ---Tuff : 27 stacks + 7 ---Stone : 4 stacks + 32 ---Andesite : 17 blocks ---Light_gray_wool : 7 blocks ---Light_gray_concrete_powder : 7 blocks Walls: ---Clay : 1 stack + 47 ---Diorite : 2 stacks + 28 ----Mushroom_Stem : 7 stacks + 22 ----Smooth_Sandstone : 9 stacks + 11 Trim/detailing ---Oak_log : 8 blocks ---Barrel : 2 stacks + 51 ---Beehive : 6 stacks + 17 ---Brown_wool : 12 blocks ---Spruce_stair : 3 stacks + 19 ---Spruce_slab : 1 stack + 27 ---Spruce_trapdoor : 6 stacks + 13 ---Weathered_copper : 29 blocks Roof: ---Brian_coral_block : 13 blocks (I didn't use bc I couldn't figure out how to place them in creative, please if someone knows, so I'm guessing based on the vid) ---Pink_concrete : 34 blocks ---Pink_wool : 1 stack + 38 ---Stripped_cherry_wood : 3 stacks + 2 ---Stripped_cherry_log : 3 stacks + 33 ---Cherry_planks : 14 stacks + 25

I love how he's done this tutorial.Expecially how he's narrated it which makes it seem reasonably simple (but maybe that's just me ) . I can never find tutorials that I like for big builds like this only small starter houses so it's very exiting to find this. Haven't started building it yet because I'm still gathering the resources which has been very frustrating😄 but I am looking forward to getting started. BTW the bee hives are so annoying to get - I spent hours getting around 2 and 1 half stackes of honeycomb then crafted it into bee hives and it wasn't even a stack.😅And I only started with 1 bee. My friend fought I had already built it.🤣

this video captures my short attention span because its a good design and the narrartinng helps me pay attention to the details you're building. this is a really fun build tutorial to watch compared to asmr speedbuilds - because they're stretched out too long and the lofi music in the background is basically like a lullaby. this tutorial seems very versatile, and you can make personalized tweeks to the components of this house, yet, it would still look unique and textured because of the template. i actually appreciate this type of tutorial (i live under a rock), because im actually beinng forced to pay attention and remember the details and the instructions as you narrate, instead of just being - able - to visualize what it's supposed to look like. tldr: THIS BUILD IS SO PRETTYYYY AYOO?

I'm kinda new to minecraft and I actually really like this tutorial!! Even though I'm a beginner, the block by block tutorials take so long to follow and typically dont really explain the point of what they're doing so I think this style of tutorial is really great for teaching somebody that wants to LEARN rather than mindlessly copy a video for who knows how long. Sucks that there are so many aggressive comments by people saying this isn't a tutorial or that it's a bad tutorial!

@DuxSupremus3 ай бұрын
I have a feeling this was shot as the build was developed and the notes were never updated to reflect changes made along the way. For example, the base of the main body of the house is 15 vertically, not 14, and you can tell because the beehives have an odd spacing. As somebody else mentioned, the first set of walls goes up 8 blocks, not 7. The design of the roof corner interiors changes at 4:47 without verbal note. There were several other things I noticed. The big one is never seeing the right-hand side of the build. (You can sort of tell some features from the front should just be replicated on the back by seeing through the windows, but that one side is a complete mystery.) Another is that the three roof edges on the front of the building were extended by 1 block from 2 to 3, without being verbally noted. It's a very good build, and the basics of the tutorial are there, but the devil is in the details, which is what I think frustrated a lot of people. I understand it was all done in the name of speed, but an extra 30 seconds and some more consistency in note-taking would have saved a lot of headache in replicating it.
