It's because she didn't prepare Beyoncé, she wanted to play a coked-out Whitney Houston and Ru basically said "you do that I'm sending your ass home" so she struggled to make Beyoncé work. She was even told not to do Beyoncé but to do Michelle Williams instead because you could at least play the angle of having been kicked out of Destiny's Child for Beyoncé's solo career.
