The funniest part about Snatch Steal unrelated to the format it was legal in. In some of the Tag Force games. If you decide to put a banned card in your deck. Some duelist will run up to 3 Snatch Steal and other degenerate cards (Change of Heart). What a fun time for Tag Force players lol xD Also Snatch Steal can be searched with Power Tool Dragon. Make that what you will.

"and have that magical Heart of the Cards comeback that everyone would want to see." Unironically that's why I want to see Pot of Greed unbanned. I'm wholly aware that the game shifts heavily in the favor of the player that draws it and their opponent doesn't, but the idea that in real-world Yu-GI-Oh, that there's a player in a tournament that's on the brink of defeat, and the only way they can win is to literally draw Pot of Greed for turn and then hit the exact two cards they need, the chance of that happening is worth it returning.

What was the best deck to use Snatch Steal? Infernoid or BA-Infernoid. The mill 1 on Snatch Steal was the reason why: "Oh I can play disruption, take a beater AND mill a combo piece?" The best part, though, was that Snatch Steal wasn't even that impactful because the format was still "fuck you, Nekroz" where your opponent would often just pass with a blank field. That is, multiple copies of Hidden Armory would just brick up your hand and if Nekroz wasn't killing you, Trish on Snatch Steal put 3 bricks in your deck.

I know its a meme to say "just negate it, bro XD" but really is it any worse than any other going-second board breaking card? You're taking one Monster, probably a boss Monster which means it either has negation or atleast targeting protection. Evenly Matched, Forbidden Droplets, Dark Ruler no More, Kaijus, Sphere Mode, Superpoly, Lightning Storm, etc. What makes Snatch Steal a bridge too far? I guess you can take the Monster to use its effects but chances are it will be incompatible with your gameplan, making it little more than a Beater/Link-Material.
