When you got a small window of opportunity to knock a guy, the damage of AKM being higher, you'd prefer to use AKM over Beryl. Also experienced players would know that the aim assist on AKM's iron sight is much more effective than any other gun's iron sight. Another point is, in competitive, you're less likely to find your desired grip and muzzle. Beryl's recoil is as good as bad it is, without the attachments. Therefore, without attachment AKM's recoil is better than Beryl's.

Reason why I prefer AKM over Baryl: 1. The low fire rate of AKM helps me in spray transfer on hip fire, so I can take down 2 enemies in one spray of AKM. 2. I carry 2 ARs, so sometimes I use AKM single tap with full 6x on long range, 3 bullets of AKM can take down a level 2 helmet. High Bullet damage and low vertical recoil in first 3 fire is big plus point with AKM. 3. AKM is lobe ❤️

Prefer picking up DMR'S then. If you are using akm for single tap then its a dumb idea. Choose mk14 for long as well as close range. If not mk then slr sks and mini are better Choices for long range single tapping
