Correct me if I'm wrong, but (just from watching the intro) Curze has 2 rules which are overlooked in the intro summary: 1. He gives nightfight to the infantry in the army for free (Stevie mentions the gimmick of giving night fight to apothecaries to carry over into squads, which would be unnecessary with Curze); and 2. Curze makes the army immune to fear (Pardo mentions giving fear back via the banner bearer). The rules are fresh in my head as I played the duel mission in Beta Garmon with my White Scars against a mate that plays Nightlords 2 days ago.

@@thomasmulhall9317 yeah correct the first bit is why he has no upgrades for night vision on his infantry, speeders or dreads and only his vehicles have it. I think that comment is just a joke of what you can do with the apothecaries.

I rate this battle report a full 12 out of 10. I am getting more and more convinced that I should include some Night Lords in my collection at some point. Both armies look amazing on that snowy battle field. PS. Primarhs are bulky 4, @1:34:41 Stevie G. sabotages himself (like a true Noght Lord) by knocking one 4 (which would be a murderous strike) into a 2 in the challange against Corswain, with his shred re-roll .

Hi guys great battle report.@60mins ish you do an explosion from a dreadnought. You say the only models in range can be hit but you then allocate the wounds like a shooting attack. This is not correct. The autonomic deflector destination (I may have that name slightly wrong) hits each model in range of the explosion so you roll for each model to wound and save individually. Vehicle explosions cause a number of hits equal to the number of models in range of the explosion so you allocate same as a ranged attack. This means that it is possible for characters/special weapons to get caught up in dreadnought detonations.

What does happen is that there is still a wound pool so if the explosion hits three then you can allocate wounds to those three as you wish but only those threes can die

Love my night lords, its such a shame people just over play terror assault ROW. I use it maybe once in a blue moon for simple fact it can really skew the game in night lords favour and weaker legions and factions just struggle more than they already do

O look better flamers in the form of plasma than Salamanders get. Yea Salamanders are badly written, shitty traits. So what does this tell you, dont waste your money on playing a balanced game cos if you took a Salamanders legion as a choice, good luck and enjoy the feels bad moments, a heresy legion is 3 to 4 times the price of a 40K army.

@@drathlor Fire drakes pay only 10 points for Thunder Hammers (normally 15) and 5 for a 3+ inv save (IF cataphractii pay 10 for Vigil pattern storm shield) so you get a 10 points discount, that is hardly expensive.
