We saw them 2 weeks ago and they were better than anything you've seen on KZbin. The audience isn't "dead"--they are so fully engaged that they are in awe of the terrific music. And the guys are also fully engaged with the audience so the energy is amazing. I am now a RAVING FAN and I never heard of them before my sister took me to their concert. Make the effort to see them...you won't regret it. The only advice is to purchase their cds online--the lines waiting to buy them were out the door!

Props for mixing these songs together but I think the arrangement is kinda boring for a capella. The main singer doesn't match the background very well because he accentuates other notes way more then others which sounds weird imo. When a group of 4 singers shows more variation and harmony then this entire group it makes it a bit unimpressive. But it's ok to listen to, and people will probably hate me for criticizing them, even though I've never even heard of these guys before.

@BC25 I had no idea where we were going, crazy you said that as we had 2 extra tickets as well and actually had to phone around, because of the other 2 people being a bit like party poopers. They wouldnt let us stay there for 10 extra minutes, to meet and greet them... I really wanted to take pics with them! So disappointed about that but there show was AMAZING!!! @sbcaviston "nonconformists" isn't exactly the right word. I would go with people who like songs with actual melody rather than variations on the same phrase repeated over and over...and over and over. I'm personally a fan of the 70's where the held true, and though I don't like this song they did a great job of it. Now you said 10 ppl vs just 1 and a guitar, where the guitar is playing the exact same chord structure and there isn't really any different harmonies, they just added color.

@77sallysayshi77 I have to respectfully disagree. :) I've never played an instrument but I have sang A Capella and when I say "they don't need an instrument to sound good" I mean that for once the poor instrumentalists, who work so hard (or are just talented), don't have to get stuck with the ugly job of trying to cover up a singer who can't stay on pitch. Hallelujah for great singers and instrumentalists alike!

@hubbajuba @truknayr23 For example, 1:12-1:15ish. It's not obvious, and it's not so much that he's missed the note. It's more that he sort of wavers around notes a bit instead of hitting them dead on. But that's not to say anything against his ability or anything, it's pretty much impossible to have a live performance without some small things like that. He's still an excellent singer.
