I’ve got the ZTX 42 Kawasaki and I love it. Got me a hitch kit and a pull behind cart/dump trailer and now I have a way to haul small heavy items around my yard as well. Love the lights as I have cut early as well as at night and they are VERY bright. I do keep the rear tires around 22 PSI as my yard is hilly and sometimes muddy, this helps with traction. Overall I love this mower. Have 7.5 hrs so far. Did the 5 hour break in oil and filter change and that was very easy to do.

So I was all set for buying the ZTHD44, but after I saw the updated ZTXL 42, I am thinking is the HD still worth the additional $1k? Since the XL contains some of the HD features?

Hi, I have a 2023 ZT X 52, Its great, the only thing bothering me is that the lever do no line up in the neutral position they are about 1 inch offset. The user accessible lever adjustments are both in the same position, and to that end, have a tooth system that only allows adjustment in 15 degree increments. I do not think that adjusting the neutral position on the trans axle, to get the levers to line up will work, as it does not creep. Any ideas?

Hi Carl, is grease N.L.G.1 #1-½ okay to use on my 2023 ztxl. Also besides the front tires, is there anything else I need to be greasing? I didn’t see grease nipples on the spindles.

It’s tough. The tanks have to have some crazy material to meet EPA standards. It’s hard to see through the window

@@carlsmowerandsaw Our local dealer said they can't even order the 2023 ZTXL until April 19th. On top of that he said they are pretty stocked with inventory so he won't be placing any big orders to get free shipping so I would be stuck with $250+ shipping on top of the unit. Or I can just go with the 2022 model. Kind of bummed as it looks like they made some upgrades.

Ive been a toro guy for yrs and im thinking about buying a gravely. My thing is i HAVE to have something with great susoension, air ride seat or something bc i just had my 2nd soinal fusion at age 46. Friend of mine has a toro "my ride" and its awesome susoension and seat ride like. My question is does the ztx "52 model have good suspension . Ive been looking at reviews and toro has gravely veat from what i see but just still doing some research. We are in central fl and mow yr around. Also im assuming a 10 gauge deck is a thicker metal then a 11 ga right? Thanks for all your help

Your best to look at an HD series and get a suspension seat.

They stripe well and have an option to add a striper. Yes powered bagger is available.

The 2022 year model looked much better. The 2023 ZTX and XL model looks ugly with the exposed angled side beams and with no back wheel fenders. Trying to save cost made it from a very pretty machine to outright ugly!
