Wow what wonderful dies I liked them before but I love how you tie died them. I bet they would look so good on black paper they would pop. Don't forget about the dies on the floor or kitty will have fun with them.

Yes - I think a fall colored background with black dies will be on the way come later this summer! I had to look all over for that die! It’s amazing how they bounce😂😂

I always lay color down lightest to darkest to help to not contaminate a pad.

I do that 90% of the time as well - but with this you are able to control pretty easily where you are touching since it's a large surface. When they make it at my camp I will recommend they do it that way...since my pads are new and they will be socializing while stamping!

The Stampin' Spots might be easier to use to add ink to your plate.

Those work too. When I created this I used all the new In Colors and didn't have a spot in any of them. So - just use what you have. I did have this card as a project at both my camp and a Demonstrator event - lots of ladies have now made it and they all did fine with the pads. But, if you have spots those will work!

The backgrounds turn out differently each time you make them. You can make several to have on hand and then use a softer one for a card like this if you like! Thanks for watching!!

Any reason that you don't use your reinkers for this technique? I'm thinking you could move the plate around and let the ink run around some.

You could use reinkers, although the result would likely be a lot brighter/darker. I barely just touched the ink pad to the surface - so it's not much ink on the board. Just enough that the puff of air from the spritzer blows the tie dye pattern into the ink. Plus, we will do this at camp and the pad way is less messy when there are a lot of people doing it! But, both would certainly work!

This Try It Class is still all online. The only in person event I have been having are my stamp camps and that has been with very limited seating. Camps are only about 2 hours and I can make it work under the conditions we have - so I have moved everything else online. Although I hope to start offering a bit more in person over the summer.
