I think it was more about the fight Robyn had with Preston. Dayton was very injured in an ATV accident while riding with Kody, something Robyn lied about on camera to protect Kody. Preston was asking Aurora for information and she cut him off from the kids. He didn't want them filming and had concerns about Kody's supervision and judgement. (Six months later, Truely was hospitalized due to his neglect.) Robyn made back child support and medical bills from the accident an issue, but told Preston that they would waive child support and medical bills if he would relinquish his parental rights. Insurance was never the issue, just a Reddit rumor. The show paid their LLC directly. At any point Kody could have obtained a company policy that covered all members and dependents. As a business health plan, it would have been far cheaper than finding an individual family plan. Also, it would have been tax deductible for the business.

Kody used her for secrets. He asked her not to tell certain things on air bc he’ll look bad and that makes him be in a dark place. When he doesn’t want to hear or talk about anything he says it puts him in a dark place or he’s not interested in hearing or doing that. And they all comply! Don’t make Kody sad or mad or uncomfortable. It’s astounding how the indoctrination or his years of control or rage he puts upon them, they just back off. Plus he works Meri by implying he’ll work on their relationship or this will make them better. Just like she bought at the move that he was calling their relationship special but really meant the whole family was special at one time.

So. Meri still loves Kody, she still would get back with him if he hadn’t absolutely told her he doesn’t want her anymore. In her eyes, Kody is still “it”- the hot young polygamist man with long hair who “picked” Meri first. Her throwing Janelle under the bus last week made it clear to me that she still is trying to stay on his good side. She’s like “just so you know Janelle approached me behind your back, but I’m telling you because I’m on your side.” She doesn’t want him to hate her. That’s why she’s gone out of her way to say “I’m NOT team ex-wife.” She would never align herself with people he hates. Also- I think she still sees herself as being “above” Janelle and Christine. She is having a hard time with the fact that she was never anyone to anyone. She used to be somebody when Kody loved her. She wants to be important again. Shes having a hard time realizing Kody never loved her like that.

I don’t think they can do a really far back look back because the whole show was fake. He left his first family for Robyn. Period. The show should have shown the neglect right then.

Meri should never say she loves Kody! Kody dumped his kids for Robyn’s kids. When he married Robyn! He put her first over all the other wife’s. As we watched this show from the beginning I was watching a train wreck that was never going to work. Sharing a husband never can work. Kody just wanted to sleep with them. Very bad for kids!

Why does Kody think Robyn is the approachable one to all the kids when the next minute is all of them have been brainwashed against her? Pick a side. Man he is beguiled by her. Lame reason not to be with Meri when her mom died. Kody did not quarantine. Just like with Janelle gone a few days and went right back to picking up Ari and kissing Robyn as soon as he pulled into town. Aurora can’t watch the kids? Christine can’t watch the kids? Of course Janelle went it’s the right thing to do. Her and her kids should have gone. It’s not like she let them in school. They had a nanny. If you invite Gwen, Gabe, Garrison and Savannah and even Janelle who live in AZ I won’t come to Eve at your house Meri and neither will my kids or Kody. That is the friend she was.

Back when Meri was just “taking it” when Kody was crap talking her remember SHE was still being led to believe if she did XYZ that was on the list then Kody would be in a relationship with her again. She loves him and wanted nothing more than that. So she had to “keep sweet” and protect him with that “cloak of charity” (that Kody had said so famously is now gone baahahaha 😂 of course it is you dumbass). Meri believed in her spiritual vows and she was raised and indoctrinated into this cult. I’m glad she’s able to speak now that she has the release and she is reminding us that NO she wasn’t stupid and she did see the writing on the wall, but she got very mixed messages from Kody. Kody was only tender towards Meri to get the legal divorce. That’s it. A means to an end. Just like him crying when he moved her to Parowan. Crying for drama crying for content, crying bc he’s lost a paycheck 🤷‍♀️ I’m like you. I want them to spill alllll the tea! I’m nosy like that 😂 have a great weekend! ❤
