I don't like the commonly used functions hidden being away in the "more" buttons. It's taking simplicity of UI too far IMHO.

I agree. There is lots of room to show them full time and not hidden.

It is very poor. There is plenty of empty screen space down the side where those buttons could be placed. Hiding them just adds extra clicks...

Dylan: I give up on the staring contest. You are the KING! I just can't keep up. ;-) All these changes reminds me of Kroger. Just when I get used to knowing where all the items are that I need to get, they switch all the aisles and I don't know where anything is. I still think I can get used to this new interface starting in 3 days. I guess we will see. I don't personally care about clean and modern. I care about useful and easy to catch on to. So let's hope it is that. We shall know shortly. Take care and get ready to relax once the launch day is passed. All of you deserve a few days off WITH pay. Share this with Dan and Craig so they will know to give you fellas a break.

Why the heck was the ability to resize the view removed from the Nav tab?

What about the Export UI, is that getting fixed? Is a simple explorer/finder input box coming? Currently I export from ON1 and import into Luminar to get an easy to use export control, with a font size that can be easily read.

I'll wait until I have some time using the new version, but at first glance it seems you guys are reducing many important icons to save screen space. Now users will have to twirl down or have pop out open parameters that were easily located right within the current tool. Still don't like seeing the Effects tab at the end of the edit options. It used to be right next to Develop and now its the last thing after Portrait and Sky. Sky should be the last thing as not every image has a sky in frame. Every photo needs to be Developed and then Effects added along with Local adjustments. Portrait and Sky should be two last two. Even without the most common used tabs, if you listed them alphabetically, Effects would be next to Develop, then Local, Portrait and Sky. It seems like a minor issue to complain about, but changing stuff just to say, hey look, we changed stuff is concerning. Obviously you guys did a ton of work on speed and efficiency, but some of the UI modifications seem misguided. I guess I'lll know in a few days.

I'm pretty sure I saw mention of being able to revert to the previous scheme.

- I see how hiding some elements can be useful on small screens, but on my Studio Display it just adds an unnecessary click. - the masking inspector OTOH is just a waste of screen space. Masking worked perfectly and faster where it was before. - What’s the key for quick preview on non-American keyboards?

What I’m seeing now is a lot of unnecessary changes for the sake of AI. Let’s make changes to the apps that already exist and improve on them. I think you’re making changes for the sake of making things different not always the best thing. It seems that you’re just complicating things even more.

There are several comments about things being removed and I totally agree. Bring back the Sync button to the image browse view. Too many clicks to drill into an parent option to get to a child option. Put it at the top level, or at least give us the option to customize the display by showing/hiding what we prefer (as in customized toolbars). Other competitors have this ability.
