Hey JD, my game is saying experimental settings and sometimes freezes on 100% idk what to 1.16 is the only one working but I really want to play 1.18. have you had the same issues for 1.18, and if so how do you fix it.

It’s so pretty! How did you transfer Venture and the barn? Also, how do you switch to 1.18?

I spawned venture in using commands, and the barn i pasted as a schematic using world edit. Unfortunately most of the blocks don’t transfer over very well though so I had to repair a lot of it by hand. You switch to 1.18.2 by creating a new world using that version of minecraft and then the version of forge that works for 1.18.2. For this world we used a mod called tectonic for the pretty mountains and forests.

@Carla-ee8hn I downloaded all the modes I used in 1.16.5 in 1.18.2 and the forge for 1.18.2 which is version 40.2.0 made a new world and play ❤️

@Carla-ee8hn also I you use to play on 1.16.5 ou may need to reinstall 1.18.2 if you played o 1.18.2 without mods or else it will use the forge for 1.16.5 which won't let you use swem or some other mods

They are completely different things. You’d have to start a new profile for 1.18.2 and then a new map to play it.

Yes, 1.16.5 will no longer receive updates. I will eventually switch to this server full time, but I’ll still be on the other one for a little while
