I use the first version all the time. A little sad the blade is over 3 inches as that rules it out for me. Appreciate it can’t be for everyone but hopefully you produce a reduced version in the near future. I’ve followed on KS just in case :)

The thumbstuds are too far out on the blade. It will affect sharpening on the upright sharpeners

great vlog! I used to work jobs where I actively used my pocket knives as tools, but since I've transitioned to a desk job I've found myself using them more and more for cooking. I'm excited to see this go live and add it to the arsenal of food preppers I own lol.

Pretty sure the production runs are made in china, but they do USA made runs every once in a while. Right now they have a preorder for a USA made lookout.

That’s a big question! I need to do a full video on this at some point. Short answer is a little bit of everywhere. Here goes, some backstory. The company was started in china where the founders (Chad and Joe) met. Chad was there working and Joe is from china. Decided they wanted to make some stuff together. Both with manufacturing/project management backgrounds. Met up with a local manufacturer they knew in Shenzhen to get some projects rolling and we work with the same man to this day. He only makes our stuff also. We use refills and parts from Germany in most pens. Our backpacks are made in Vietnam by one of the largest and highest regarded bag factories in the world. Watches are made in china using Japanese movements, and leather from New York. We also have a machine shop in Chattanooga tn that is ramping up production and have some more projects hitting the finish line there very soon. More info than you probably asked for but we’re an open book! Haha thanks for asking

@@bigidesign keep the great tools coming out, I got the bit bar inline ,bit bar inline max, bit bar II and the EDS II. The EDS II is my favorite, it’s so light and I can keep a valve core remover bit for the main bit and the other 3 a 4,5,6mm bits for working on tires and after market rims with hex screws.

I like the version 2, however, those studs are way out there on the blade. It looked like there was some room to pull it back out of the cutting path a little. Just an observation.
@bigidesign2 күн бұрын
They haven’t seem to be in the way with all the testing we’ve done luckily, that was something we were looking at. We really wanted the studs to sit in the perfect spot within the ergos of the handle for the action to be just right
