Seriously! It’s been so hard getting some stuff from NHS since Covid. I get on there everyday practically cuz there stock can get totally wiped out within hours it seems like. I was lucky enough to grab a Winkowski VX board, with 60mm Slime Balls and 159 Indy’s, which is the same size Winkowski skates even on such a wide board (10.34”). I’m a skater since the mid 80’s, so I like the wider boards. 9” or above is what I skate right now. I will say that the VX does seem to make you feel like you have a lot of pop! It’s a stiff board but it gives you amazing feel. Even riding risers and everything, you still get really good feedback from the street. Probably due to the stiffness of the board. I have skated Santa Cruz boards since my first one when I was 10 and now I’m 44! I got a Roskopp melting face with Slime Ball Vomits. 😂. Soon switched to a SMA Natas, and had a lot of those. It’s one thing I like about SC, and Powell too...they have a great history for skateboarding in general. And for me at least, that means something. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I know it’s not the popular opinion, but I have always liked slick decks. Had a neon dot sc slick in the 90s and am glad they are back. I have ridden probably 10 slicks in the past decade, with a few from nhs. I will buy one of these, would be cool to have a slick that size that weighs less than it would on a 7ply.

Love the product challenge videos. Also love NHS products. Currently still riding a Tom Knox 8.25 with Indy 144s and Bronson G3s. Just picked up a Fabiana Delfino fortune teller deck. Real interested in trying an everslick deck. Haven't made the switch to Ricta or OJs yet. Still stuck on Spitfire formula 4s😅. TURN HENRY PRO! He rips!

I just needed to see a little Henry he was the best when it came to going huge and dropping hammers he filled a niche that Santa Cruz had open with skaters like Kevin Braun and Tom Asta etc filling all the others. They needed that 50-50 nine kink and noseblunting 18 stair guy, and yes he really did those. I started skating at 8.1 and have boards up to 10.35. If you have size 12 feet and are 511 200 pounds like me, 9 feels pretty good for the park but for me 8.75 is my new sweet spot for everything else now. I tired an 8 last night and it just kick it away from me feels so light.

What does he mean by "it has a quicker snap" when he mentioned that he was riding Indy "mids." He said they are 52mm high and he's using 53mm wheels. Any problems with wheel bite? I like my Indy standards (55mm height) with 53mm wheels because I can ride them loose and not have problems with wheel bite. I don't think I've ever got it. I had major problems with some Mini-Logo trucks which I think are only 47mm high. That made me paranoid of lower trucks. Actually, it just occurred to me that the quicker snap is with regard to ollies. Seems like you can get higher ollies with higher trucks.
