Hello my cooking friend ,Daddy Cooks aka Phil... I love ox tails your way was fantastic .I love mine in my homemade vegetable soup along with a nice piece of roast simmered in a stock of vegetable tomato juice then I add everything, my children and neighbors love my soup .Thanks again for your recipe, if any one out there never tried ox tails go for it .They are very exspensive but worth it for such a great flavor of meat .Take care Phil and blessings to the family and you .Genevieve 🦋🦋🍺

Janet Alexander no. Actually to buy them whole will cost more. These cut were $6.99 a pound. I had them trim the excess fat as normal but sell them to me without cutting them to size. If you buy them whole and untrimmed, you will be paying for a lot of fat that you will cut off and discard. At $6.99 a pound, that fat will cost.
