Shanella Akhtar trust...worked w/ major F500 firms looking 2 collaborate (reach new customers, do something cool not done b4, yada yada) but NOT customer-focused 1st & foremost. If it's not AUTHENTIC, true to origins of product/brand/company, natural, believable - people will see through made-up storyline. Then they can only hope for interest by limited stock, splashy launch, seeded celeb/athlete endorsement or other tactic to put lipstick on what is truly a pig

Collabs are paired with being limited and thats what really makes people want them. Example pharell super stars no one ever wanted because they were not that limited however the NMD everyone wants because of how limited it is. Even as yeezys have become more available they are less sought after. It still seems as other than Present and past NBA player shoes the only other shoes I see and film at the counterfeit markets here in China are collabs.
