I really get Matt’s opinion the whole hunting for a grail whether it be saving or trading or whatever it may be is a big part of the culture. I’m on the tough side I wear a 13 so finding those older rare sbs is next to impossible for me and while I would like an older pair retroed so I could actually get a pair I wouldn’t be hurt if they didn’t release them I was okay with how they did the huf sb lows I couldn’t ever find the highs in my size so I’d be all for it if they did something similar.

He’s not saying that paying up is hunting . He’s saying that hunting for shoes that are limited or older release are the whole part of being a sneaker head . Looking for shoes that you always wanted as a kid or a pair that you were never able to get and something you hunt for years later . Which in the end usually results in paying a higher price tag due to limited availability or age of the shoe .

Totally agree with not rereleasing all the good old Sb's if they're the exact same. I love watching all of yall's stuff and have learned so much sneaker related stuff just by watching yall. I sadly don't have the money to buy all the nice pairs yall have but even from my perspective of only owning a couple pairs it's not bias whatsoever. I'd much rather have the feeling of buying an insane pair of Sb's with a long search then getting a Got It screen just to get a remake of the same shoe for 10x less of the price.

Jordan wasn't able to design a hot sneaker for the past 25 years. That's crazy! Who cares about a Jordan 27 or Jordan 31? They kept the retros alive for the past 10-12 years but I think people are tired of the 100th white red and black Chicago color way shoe. There's no technology in retros and the hype is finally over. We need Ye to come back and save the sneaker world again and come up with futuristic and dope ideas and designs. Btw. I actually see a lot of people wearing Air Max Dn's. One of the best Nike releases in recent history.

@@pablocastillo3733 It has a special moment in history. The average consumer “wants what they can’t have”, otherwise the fake designer industry would not be nearly as successful. How often do people double take over a panda dunk? It would water down the history to over saturate certain pairs. I agree pairs that were never released (Undefeated 4’s, PlayStation Air Force’s, etc.) should have an opportunity for the public to get them. If there was to be a rerelease of the pigeon dunk, people wouldn’t remember the insane history of that moment in sneakers. Keep what is special, special. Only my opinion 😊

Almost nobody goes to events to trade anymore. When you goes to events its just resellers selling to other resellers. The Og sneaker culture went to dust aftter everybody and their grandmother started to resell. The boom in resell ruined the old culture imo when ppl started caring more about the money than the sneakers the culture went to dust.
