For those who don't know, also, Owsley, aka "bear", besides creating the famous "Steal Your Face" logo for the Dead, and developed the now world famous "wall of sound", he was also the dead's main acid chef back before LSD and the other psychedelics were all made illegal, and was even the primary supplier of the beginning of the San Francisco psychedelic movement and Ken Kesey's Acid Tests after they could no longer get a hold of Sandoz' acid. He is estimated to have produced more than 5 million doses, and was busted with the band in New Orleans, a primary subject of the famous song "Truckin" There was one time, before LSD was made illegal, when the police raided the house where Bear was doing his work, because the police thought they were making meth. He would later to on to win a lawsuit against the police for the return of all his equipment. This man, despite being unknown to most Americans, had a major role in the shaping of recent US history, music, and the psychedelic movement, all of which helped cross over into the anti-war and Civil Rights movements. On another note, I could really use a pair of any color of these for a reasonable price. My whole family is very much a part of the massive Dead family and would much appreciate, and pass on the favor to someone else who needs one.

Me personally I just ordered some replicas(fakes) of these sneakers from China not too long ago for around 20 bucks I believe, and they’re pretty much spot on for whatever color you want. I personally got the yellow ones cause they’re so bright and vibrant, but if I personally had to choose between the orange and green, I’d pick the green pair. My friend has some replicas of the green ones and they look beautiful
