All that had to happen here was for the security to escort them from the studio complex and inform them that they were banned from re-entering the Granada Studios and if they came back they'd knowingly be committing aggravated trespass (a criminal offence), the police would be called and they'd quite probably be arrested and prosecuted. As I said, the actions of the police in this video were way out of proportion, a waste of everybody's time and a sad reflection on the attitude and competence of the average idiot British plod.
