Kassie there's a simple solution to the basement. Turn off the power, go through the door behind the switch, there's a different path to get to that gate and that generator when you take the door to the left, but there's more rooms to go through. The electric fence will be off so you can open it and turn on the generator, and then open the gate that blocks the exit. Upvote so that Kassie could see it

I have a bff who has depression & seeing that for a while ended up giving me anxiety. After I started watching your videos it really helped me deal with the anxiety. Okay, so.. I think that the back story of Hello Neighbor is that the neighbor once had a child and when Kassie pressed the "Restart" button, I think that the neighbor was crying in the little cut scene after the car crash because when the crash occurred and he limped to the window of the car to possibly check to see if his child was alright and when he saw that his kid died or something, he started crying. Also, when Kassie was in the second floor room where the fan was, she saw some drawings above the fan that looked to be by a child. ALSO, the screams from the basement might be the kids he kidnapped to make him feel better or something (maybe the fact that his kid might have died is why he is so messed up in the head and kidnaps children). Lastly, I remember I watched Denis (the youtuber from the pals/the one that loves cats) play an earlier version of the game and when he made it into the basement, he found a crib, a teddy bear, and some building blocks. And even in this version, Kassie finds a kid's room upstairs. idk it's just a theory. this took me a good ten minutes to type out i hope you like my theory :)

How to beat the game: Once you spawn on the other side of the street turn around and go inside of the light blue house. When you are in there go to the door leading under the stairs behind the couch, (P.S grab 3 boxes, and a 4th item.). Then go to the neighbors house and get up that shelf thing. Once you get there jump and place the boxes under you, and get up on the roof under the big hole. Then jump to the other roof (Above the door.). To get there you must hit Shift and 'W'. Shift. A.K.A sprint. Once you get by those two windows use your 4th item that you grabbed and throw it at one of the windows. Go in. That big painting you see. Take the picture off and there is a hole in the wall. When you are in the room look on the wall and your gonna see a a red + white key, take it to the car and unlock the trunk. In there trunk there is a magnet. Go to the back of his house and grab boxes and stack the to get to that little window. The magnet is coming to use! Hold down left click. Whenever you get a white pick lock looking thing. Go to the open window in the back leading to the neighbors bedroom. Open the door, and go across to the other door. Once you are in there grab the gold rench. Then go back outside and open the ladder. Go up and walk across the plank and fall into the hole. Look on a blue table in the room and grab the red key! Go into the living room and unlock the door with the red lock.

Actually the neighbor lost his wife in a car crash but the son also acidentally killed the girl by pushing her off the edge of a plank and locked the son up because taht what he had left but the son eventually died in the basement and now me and my friends think hes shadow boy

I finished the game!!! Basically if you want to press the generator, you have to find the electric box and take boxes to stack them up to go around the fence. Once you went around pressed the generator, the gate to the exit opens!!! Then to go back to the exit, you can see a stash of stuff from the corner, so you just have to climb it and go over the fence. Then head for the exit!!! Simple as that!!! I hope you found this advice useful!!! If you have found more ways, send them in the reply section!!! Thx a lot!!!😊❤️
