The un convention on the rights of a child sets the age of majority at 18 which I think should be the hard limit because 18 year olds are young but they’re not as volatile as 14 or 15 year olds so they’re more capable of making informed decisions. And I also believe in the romeo and Juliet laws which establish consent is plausible between adolescents and very young adults if they’re close enough in age because I don’t think a 3 year age difference is great enough to create a power dynamic that negates consent and because a 14 year old is significantly smaller than an 18 year old which can create a power dynamic for consent. And plausible consent doesn’t mean guaranteed. Additionally when it comes to people who have been emancipated as minors, those minors still should be seen as minors when it comes to consent laws.

I think the lowest age for a short bit in medieval europe was 14. Germany specifically. But the most common ages of marriage was 18 and up. It also helps that they did start puberty much later due to nutrition. That and they did know pregnancy for anyone under a specific age was asking for more trouble than normal with pregnancy. I mean.
