I liked your essay! 😂 As you said, essentially admitting you're a tyrant by stating "Well I didn't try to assassinate Navalny because if I really wanted him dead, he would be dead" is indeed an odd defence.

@@nikkijulia I'm glad to hear. 😁 Okay, the book is called "Unspeak: Words Are Weapons" by Steven Poole. You may find it interesting with regards to media language, coded phrases etc.
