In re Mother 3: It was originally a scrapped Super Famicom game that never got finished on the 64. I figure if they included the scrapped Super Famicom game Star Fox 2, it would have been nice to include Mother 3 (which was developed for the Super Famicom and is in a 16 bit style). Honestly though, I just beat the “GIVE US MOTHER 3” drum whenever possible 😇

It's fine if everyone except Japan never get Mother 3. We got emulators and the best man of translation, Clyde (Tomato)Mandelin who have it done this decades ago. So I've learned to accept things that never gonna to happened, even if we bug Reggie at Twitter. Lol

Mother 3 was never, at any point EVER considered for the SNES. The beginning OF the idea with Itoi didn't even COME UP until well into the production of the N64, which was transitioning to the N64DD. Why would they ever GO BACK and make a game for a long dead system? And either way, that would have made absolutely no sense because it's a Gameboy Advance game, anyway in it's current form. Why the hell would a Gameboy Advance game that is clearly a Gameboy Advance game show up on an SNES classic? Also stop asking for Mother 3. Everyone needs to shut up about that. For over 10 years, we've already had the only version we ever need, it's free, and Nintendo would just censor it anyway, so it would be an inferior translation that no one would ever want, if they DID spend the time and money and budget to do that, and wouldn't make a dime off of it, besides. Also Star Fox 2 IS great. Don't diss that game. That game that IS an SNES game. Star Fox 2 deserved to be on it and Mother 3 would have made no sense, and wouldn't be worth it to officially release now in ANY form, and people just need to realize that and get over it, already.
@GameAW13 жыл бұрын
@@the-NightStar Dude... I'm not even in the Mother 3 demand train and even I have to say come off it. Or else explain why they bothered to completely retranslate Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light, literally an NES archaic game when they have the superior, already localized and released DS version, Shadow Dragon. The NES one needed no translation or localization whatsoever and literally NOBODY asked for it. Whether Mother 3 ever gets localized or not, I couldn't care less, but you don't speak for the community. If they didn't want it, it wouldn't be shouted for over a decade. They want it so that's why you are hearing it. If you don't like it, IGNORE IT

I've been saying this since the full roster of games was announced -- it says something about the strength of the SNES's library that they can pack 21 games in one device, have everyone agree that those 21 games are all solid picks, and yet still say there are so many more that should've also been included. The SNES was like a gold mine. Truly the golden age of gaming, if you ask me.

0:45 This is the problem with Nintendo always having to add no-name games onto the NES & SNES Nintendo Switch Online apps: Copyrights, contracts and licenses. That’s why it took a while for the three SNES Donkey Kong Country titles (due to copyright with Rare) and Earthbound (due to lots of copyright issues within the game) to be added to the service.
