Color me surprised that this actually worked on a solo run. I thought Baramos would just block my progress since he is already a complete pain in the arse.
I am sure I would have no chance whatsoever if I did not have those crucial items.
Heroine, Sexy personality - Seems to be the most optimal Hero/ine you can choose for this kind of run but possibly for the hero character overall.
Stopspell - Blocks the Archfiend's well, EVERYTHING. Works almost 100% of the time and lasts the entire fight. Nothing you can do about Inferno though...
Healall - An obvious must have to restore all HP.
Orochi Sword - The only way to lower Baramos's DEF which is mandatory and it has to be used to cast Defense 3-4 times.
All-Knowing Mask - Cursed but on a solo run the permanent Confusion status does not work against you at all since there are no other party members. Boosts DEF sky high and it is mandatory to reduce the physical damage the Hero/ine takes to almost nothing.
I also had the Blade Armor which deflects back some physical damage but it is the best armor at that point anyway.
Then attack, attack, attack and attack and pray that Baramos goes down before you run out of MP to use HealAll to cure from Infernos. Wizard's Rings help.
The other huge problem here is that Baramos regenerates 100 HP per turn. Meaning you should deal over a hundred damage and bring down his massive 2500 HP with leftover damage... Sucks.

so if it says B takes 2 damage , he actually recovers 98 ??? And he starts at 2500 ??? O M G , and i thought fighting a Maulotaur with a Wand or a Stone Titan with a Dispersion Pistol was rough . . . ☺

Ah i was a bit mistaken : those small damages are deflected by the Blade Armor in B's turn and the 100+ damages come from the Hero/ine 's Orochi sword in _their_ turn ( had to lower playback speed to figure that out , being blonde A F :o)

Reminds me there is a 2005 DOOM RPG game I have never played, huh. It is an old mobile game. No problem! Yeah, he gains around 90-110 HP back at the end of his turn (two attacks is still one turn) but you do not see that so you have to deal more than that reasonably well for the struggle to even have a good end :D On the original NES version this is how these bosses created the illusion of having more HP. They only had a few hundred HP but secretly regenerated it every turn. Still applies in the remakes even though their HP overall was almost tripled.
