Mario paint - a man of culture. Remember playing it at my neighbours house on launch (Europe) as he got every new big name game.

I presently possess the Powkiddy RGB 30, and I've enhanced the joysticks by installing the Gulikit Hall sensor ones, resulting in a significant improvement. Additionally, I've upgraded the SD card to 256 GB to accommodate a larger collection of ROMs. Personally, I lean towards ArkOS, and I must say it's an impressive little device. I'm extremely satisfied with its performance. Having tested the majority of Dreamcast games, I found that most of them run smoothly. The standout feature, for me, is the exceptional screen quality. This device continues to exceed my expectations.

It's kinda funny because I was a Sega kid but I remember going to my best friends house to play SNES and he had ALL the cool games. Zelda, Super Metroid, Castlevania etc. I had such cool memories sleeping over or going after school to his house or mine to play games. They def hold up so well today for sure.

Great video! :) I was born in ‘92 but I remember my older brother had the snes and I used to watch him play it growing up. I still remember the day he got the n64 for Christmas and he was freaking out from excitement. The n64 is the console I grew up playing the most and I loved it :)

Great colour. I have a soft spot for this device. The white, yellow and purple colours are great, and the form factor gives it character. Might be a future purchase.

Firstly, can we acknowledge the clever thumbnail design of using the handheld as a cart? It'd be kind of cool if they made a SNES multi-cart with a screen on the side that'd show the original sticker or box art of whatever game you're playing. Patent pending! Secondly, I have never played SNES on original hardware. I don't even think I've emulated it at any point. If a SNES game wasn't ported to GBA or Genesis then I haven't played it. By and large I've never felt like I was missing out; but, a few of these games look legitimately good even without nostalgia goggles. Maybe I should give SNES a go at some point?

Thank you! I thought it was clever lol Yes, please play SNES. I wouldn't be able to look at you the same way ever again if you don't. Do it!

Have you tried connecting two wired 8bitdo controllers and playing SNES Mario Kart on the RGB30? Trying to find the best handheld for this…

What handheld is the most comfortable, quintessential way to experience SNES games to you if not this one? I was going to buy this solely for the screen size for SNES play

Are the super Mario games pre loaded on the device? I’m searching on line but can’t get a straight answer Did you have to upload super Mario world/ super Mario kart/ super Mario all stars? Or were they already included?
@JoeysRetroHandheldsАй бұрын
No clue, no one should be using the included sd cards or roms.

Also has the RGB30 grown on you? I’ve been thinking about picking one up since it is more affordable these days and the 8:7 ratio looks great for SNES.

Too bad this handheld still has quality control issues with the battery life. Would have been perfect for pico 8, snes and gb games with that screen, wifi and being on linux so you can download pico 8 games directly on the device. Really wanted to pick up an updated version that fixed the battery issues but they decided to make a horizontal version instead, which doesnt appeal to me for the same reasons this one did.

For GBA, SNES and NDS would you recommend the RGB30 or rg353ps?
@JoeysRetroHandhelds9 ай бұрын
I think most would go for the RGB30 for those. Personally, I love the PS, but DS wouldn't be as good on it as the RGB30 is.
@hughwest68089 ай бұрын
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds Because of the smaller screen size? Because the NDS and rg353ps share the same aspect ratio.
@JoeysRetroHandhelds9 ай бұрын
Because with the 1:1 aspect ratio on the RGB30, people have been putting both screens on top of each other and that beats what the PS can do.

@@audiotsignebi Street Fighter II Turbo cost, adjusted for local inflation, ~$242 in Europe 😅 and Mortal Kombat II ~174. I see that 89.99 USD would cost $190 adjusted for US inflation too ...
