I loved this game as a kid but never owned it. I wanted it so bad. I'll never forget one time I had made straight A's, and my mom promised me a gift of my choice. I came across it in a thrift shop and was so excited and told her that was what I wanted. She was on the fence about getting it for me because she thought it was probably not age appropriate, even though I kept promising her that I played the game before and there was nothing bad in it. I was a good kid and was the type who was honest with her about stuff like that. However, my cousin who was with us, did not want me to have the game and made up all kind of stuff saying the game was full of profanity, adult humor, sex, etc. just so my mom wouldn't get it. Naturally, she believed him over me and I got labeled as the liar and left without it 😭😭😭😭 I still never got over that hahahaha 😂

This game is so hard. I downloaded the rom and if you get hit once, you are done. I watched this to see what it is like to actually progress in the game haha I am not sure if the actual version, using the cartridge, for snes, allows the player to get hit a few times. The sega version does.

I've read a lot of comments saying the Genesis version is better, and I thought it was too, until recently... I bought them both and the SNES one is super hard, but fun and satisfying to beat. It also has awesome music. The Genesis one has really slippery controls, the music isn't quite as good, and it's confusing, but in the bad way where you don't feel any reward in beating it.... You just feel like you were bullshitted. I'll take the SNES version.

Scott G This game is really challenging as a platformer though.. It actually takes a lot of wit to get through it and beat it, especially some of the bosses. Difficult patterns to remember. Definitely not mindless.. The other one is more of an RPG in a sense, but some of the puzzles in it are fucking retarded, like picking up the green burger, but not eating it.. Who the fuck would know to do that! I dunno, they're both fun but I'll take the SNES version as I prefer it's difficult-but-fair platforming.

Scott G It's kinda hard to explain, but Super Mario Bros is the go-to example of a platformer. Generally platformers boil down to timing and knowledge of jump angles. It sounds simple but a good platformer game can make such a simple approach very fun. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platform_game

DoomKid SNES got gyped because this game sucks. SEGA had their ass in this competition. First thing is SEGA actually related to the show, and Second all you have to do is play the sewer part of the Street on Sega and bam that is the entire SNES game. As far as Music how could you even compare? Makes no sense because Sega's Sound Card was way better to begin with and for this game it blew it away? I thought this game might have something to it but not the slightest bit, and the Alligators in the toilet was a childish move to make anybody think this game was cool because its horrible everything about it.

The emulator version is usually messed up for some reason, it spawns you with almost no health. I think you can use a cheat to get full health, and play it as it was intended.

I'm actually kinda curious if you knew about the O2 bags you could use as weapons in the hospital? When I first played that stage I did it the same way you did because I didn't know you could take them off the wall so I got really good at just dodging all the attacks. And those plumbers are SUPER easy as well. Cause the game's not much harder if you just chose to avoid them instead so I'm not sure if that was a conscious choice or you just didn't know (which is fair because I did too back in the day) This game may look hard but that's because its hard to tell what's a good weapon or not, you just gotta remember the enemy placement and their patterns and the game is super predictable in that way. Its actually pretty fun in that way too especially since its so short. Great job with this Long Play buddy.

Yes, they do. They burp almost every time they eat something, and you can make Beavis fart. I want to say it was one of the 2 side buttons on the top of the controller, but it's been nearly 20 years since I last played it, so don't quote me on that. You can make Butt-Head pick his nose with the same button. On co-op mode, if B & B are within arm's reach of each other, the same button makes them smack each other.

One other observation is that in this version, Billy Bob is encountered in the mall, fully clothed while in the Genesis version he's encountered in the Hospital in his tighty-whities. I guess Nintendo thought a fat guy running around with his bits flopping in the wind was too uncouth...

I would argue that the SNES was better at replicating more traditional musical instruments which is why those SNES RPG games sounded so great but the Genesis had that deep bass that was better for rock n roll stuff...except for Maximum Carnage. They fucked up with the Genesis version.
