Great video! Any way let me ask you a short question. At 3:09, doesn't any inversion occur due to intimate ion pairs?

Hello Shim! Thanks for the valuable feedback! I haven’t read about the formation of inversion product due to the intimate ion pair. If you as my opinion, well i feel it could be possible. However , Carbocation rearranged products are also isolated. This confirms the existence of ion pair mechanism.
