SNIPING SIX BANDS From Nasty Hide in Wheat Field!! (Washington Early Season Goose Hunt)

The Dive Bomb Squad is carrying horseshoes during the early going of this season; that’s all there is to it! Matt Judy sent a text to the group saying Kodie Tjoelker locked down a small wheat field for an evening hunt, holding a little over 100 honkers. That night, we didn’t hear much, so we just assumed the birds didn’t cooperate or no-showed them. Then, just before bed in central time, he sends a video of a great hunt with 6 bands! In the past, they have never had much luck with killing bands during the early goose season, so needless to say; they were on cloud 9. We always give Judy a hard time about his hides, but they dialed it in yesterday evening, and with the sun quartering at their back, they put together a hunt they will never forget.

My first goose I ever shot when I was 15 was banded and 10 years later that is still my only banded bird I have ever got. Great hunt fellas

If you get these many bands from an early season goose hunt odds are they were banded nearby and are local resident geese.

Would be nice to report where these band came from and when. Just say banded 20 miles from there, 1 or 2 years prior etc. Then we know you have reported them at least. From a bander or in Europe what is called a " ringer "

I truly love your videos, and to the people that hunt, there isn’t a bad hunt. But I personally did not like this video at all. It took the true meaning of a hunt out of the picture. Yes bands are cool, but you can’t eat metal. The geese lit further out in the spread it looked like but targeting a couple bands to educate 50+ geese..? Love your company, love your products. Just my 2 cents

I’ve shot a truly obnoxious amount of ducks/geese in my life for the amount of bands I’ve ever even seen. Which is none in the field. Watching this makes me sick. What a crazy hunt. Good work

Saw the orange feet hangin and called it out so we were aware, speck is closed during our early honker season so wanted to make sure we steered clear, obviously once they landed we knew what they really were

Come on how do you know you shot that bird I couldn’t hunt with you we shoe birds to have fun. Your buddy probably shot it and you still say you shot it just don’t like the way you guys hunt that’s not how we do it too much chaos to call a bird and then you called the bird if it hits the ground
