Snippets of Hieroglyphs - Episod 2

In the second episode of the video Snippets of Hieroglyphs, Federico Poole, a curator at Museo Egizio, teaches us how to read some inscriptions found on two artefacts housed in the Museum but very different from each other: an offering basin and a statue of a pharaoh. The first was found in Gebelein in front of a funerary chapel and contains valuable information about the deceased. The second comes from the village of Deir el-Medina and represents the image of a pharaoh on a throne, whose name can be read immediately on the inscription on the base. So, who is it?
