Let’s do a little beading today!
The needle I have used in this video is a Milliner’s/straw needle size 9. The beading thread is called Nemo, yes like the fish. There is an anchoring knot before and after each bead, which is a lot I know, but I do not like a wobbly bead!!!!!
Happy stitching!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing your method for beading -- very helpful! I've had 'wobbly' beads periodically, so I'm going to try your method in anchoring each bead before and after. I love your snippet video's and watch them first thing as I start my day!

Thank you Jenny for the snippets today. I have tons of beads from jewellery projects and ornament making. Putting them into embroidery projects is a great idea. I have done it in cross stitch never thought about embroidery projects. I do hope whatever was in the grass was safe.

Thank you Jennifer, that was so helpful. I am embarrassed to tell you that I made a slow stitch pouch for my glasses and there is a sloppy bead on it!! I don’t have any bead thread (next purchase) and from now on I will be following your instruction…..knot before and after. I am working on a small project practicing my stitches before starting the hexagon project. What was in the grass??😊🥰

Hi Jennifer Thank You for showing us the bead technique some really great tips and ideas. Hopefully the Russell in the trees is nothing nasty just a Lizard thats not so bad. I now have Two of your books and my goodness so much detail and instructions. I recently had a good neighbour and friend gift me with some old linen so I thought I might make her a gift as it was her Mothers linen the little purse in your book would be perfect but I will have to search for the purse frame for it hopefully I can find it in an op shop locally. Thats the fun of it isnt it!

Unfortunately I just 4 days ago I had a surgery (jointreplacement of my left thumb), so I am unable to do any stiching. I feel like a drugadict, not being able to do a single stich, less holding a needle. But in a months time I will receive your book AND start stiching again ❤❤❤
