Forcing the public to get past the uncomfortability and conditioning them to accept and get used to seeing what used to be unacceptable behavior.

@@thomassohayda3375 crossdressing has been a comedy staple since long before snl, and if the actors were truly uncomfortable kissing each other, they wouldn't do it. Its called acting, sometimes actors do things while playing a role that they wouldn't do in real life. LGBT people have existed long before SNL, its not like some innocent straight kid is gonna see two guys kiss in a comedy sketch and be like "wow, I guess I'm gay now".
