Never ceases to amaze me the wonder that every single skit or B that he ever played Pee-Wee in it was completely and totally 100% normal for people to address a person by the name of PeeWee as though they belong there and nobody ever bats an eye at it. Paul, you sly devil you. 😈 RIP buddy

Shoulda done a SNL take on PW's Playhouse. Fun Fact: Paul Reubens was passed over for Gilbert Gottlieb (I liked both of 'em), and PR said this motivated him to create Pee Wee's Playhouse. Thanks for the videos!!!

Later, the real-life park with the big dinosaurs used in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure (in Cabazon, California) was sold and used as a religious museum. According to wikipedia, the religious parts are gone now. Last time I was there, you could climb into the T-Rex, but it’s not as big as in the movie scene.

Not the greatest sketch ever, but I couldn’t help but notice that almost no one seemed to be searching off stage for the cue card guy. They all, for the most part, have their lines memorized! That’s quality entertainment. Love Hader, Ferrell, Samberg and a few others, but there’s almost no lines spoken on SNL today without being read off a big piece of oak tag.
