I feel like this is the only viable shadow isles deck that uses SI as the primary region besides SI Shurima. i hope they run in the direction of demacia SI more in the future. maybe something to do with how many stats youve slain? who knows

@@dannygoblin5579 "Aristocrat" is a therm coming from Magic the Gathering, it refers to deck sacrificing their own units for advantage (like this deck). So, "Demacian aristocrats" is this deck played by Snnuy.

@@dannygoblin5579 Aristocrats - deck where you get a value and killing opponent by sacrificing creatures. Demacian Aristocrats had a bunch of variations: Some trying to get as fast as they can, so they opted with Prankster and Greenglade Caretaker as well as Ancient Crocolith. Other preferred going similar way but had more midrange power via 1\4 that buff all board if a creature died this turn. Basically main point is was overwhelm or burn opponents

so real talk, i try really hard not to talk about snipers because it's kind of lame if viewers think i constantly use it as an excuse, but what am i supposed to do when i feel like it's kind of obvious? like what other possible reason could they have for passing there? not saying this in a way of "please validate me" but i'm genuinely curious what a streamer is supposed to do in a scenario like that

@@Snnuy I say try to find them in the stream incase they use the same username and didn’t go incognito so you can call them out. But I personally don’t mind when the obvious ones are called out like with this guy suddenly taking forever to make a play, and then doing the most obvious “I’m playing around a card that I see in your hand that otherwise no normal player would play around in this scenario.”

That question about Invoke being Burst speed made me think Cosmic Call should actually be Slow. It's an 8 mana play that will strongly affect the rest of the game but doesn't affect the board immediately. We should treat it like Rallies or expensive Landmarks, and give the opponent a chance to prep for impact, or push that last bit of damage through.

It's an 8 mana spell that does not affect the board the turn you play it, and you even want it to be slow? Not only it does nothing the turn you play it, but the opponent knows it's coming, and can easily play around it by going wide. Why do you want it to be slow?

Yorick because it makes sense with the proliferating darkness, Karthus because the developers have said they want to make Shadow Isles a big explosive removal spell deck after rotation and they have yet to really drop anything that would allign with that philosophy
