I bought a 128gb card, created the partitions then copied all the files like it was on the original 64gb micro sd. Its under fat32. I stuck the new micro sd card in and now it loads an android menu 🤔. Not sure what im doing wrong

@dontet.9125 Ah, I believe those controllers are very picky. If you didn't receive all the pieces I would definitely message the seller on that one. It won't work with just any receiver. In the meantime, any wired USB controller should work though. Logitech, Xbox 360/One, etc.

As far as I know, yes. You'll just need a USB hub so you can plug in the other two wireless dongle receivers.

Hello there! 👋🏾 No worries friend I'm new to this too. You might be referring to the bezel? Yes you sure can remove them. While in the game, press Select and the Top Face Button (Triangle, Y, etc) at the same time it will bring up the emulator back end. If it's Retro Arch, choose Quick Menu, choose On-Screen Overlay, switch Display Overlay to Off. That should do it.

One more question, I got rid of the bezels... but how can I get the screen to fit the monitor...I thought that once I turned off the bezel setting the screen would auto fit the monitor... but it doesn't.

Sure. While in a game, Press Select + Top Face Button to bring up the backend of Retro Arch, then go to settings on the far left side of the screen, then Video, then scaling, then aspect ratio, then 16:9 will fill it with a stretch if that's what you prefer. There are wide array of aspect ratio that you can play around with at your heart's content 😉. You can even see a preview of it in the background as you select them. Just remember to press Select + Top Face button to exit back to game. And also you will need to turn the on-screen overlay option to Display Over "Off" otherwise the Bezel well still be there with aspect ratio change. (that should already be handled though). Just an FYI. Cheers buddy. Game on!

Hello friend! It does sound like the image may be corrupted. If you check the pinned comment there is a link to a google doc with FAQ I've put together. There is a section for corrupted image and were to find the download for the closest image file to re-flash it. Sadly you will most likely have to source your own ROMS which can be a hassle these days but I'm sure with some Google searches you'll find what you're looking for.

Hey there! You should be able to use any wired usb controller. I'm using two Logitech Dual Action Controllers. Just have to map whatever controller you choose.

You can even connect a USB HUB and play with four players! I connected an XBOX 360 controller and everything worked fine. I even connected a keyboard and mouse (for playing Comadore 64 and Amiga), the console even showed that it was a keyboard, but the choice was only to identify the keys as for the DualShock 3 controller. So, on the Arcade Box AD 1900, Amiga emulation is useless.

Hey there! So tried KI 1 and 2 along with Primal Rage and I wasn't able to get them working with any of the emulator settings. Primal Rage will at least launch but its not playable. Very choppy frames with audio glitching. To be honest those always seem to work better on PC emulation for me. As far as my settings I use Libretro/MAME 2003 for my emulator settings regarding Arcade/MAME and most games are playable. Everything else just pretty much works out of box. I hope this helps. Just received my box and am I being dumb but how do you exit a game? I’m having to pull the power lead out !! And absolutely gutted that we no mercy on n64 doesn’t work !!

The default method for exiting a game is pressing both start and select at the same time twice. That should get you back to the main menu. Also please make sure to press start while on the main menu and choose shut down system before pressing the power button to turn it off because these systems are very fragile and the data can get corrupted very easily. I'll probably be doing another helpful tips video to cover this as well, since there may be others that don't know.

No audio? I haven't encountered that. Have you tried multiple HDMI cables? Maybe it's defective? Let me know. There are audio controls in the main menu when you press start as well. Maybe they were toggled off?

Hey there. I'm not sure what might have caused that issue. Re-flashing the image may fix it. There is a FAQs document that I created in the pinned comment that has a link to the backup image. You'll need to use a program like Balena Etcher or the like to flash it. Hope this helps. I plan on releasing a video on how to back up images and flash them soon. I just need the funds to acquire some more micro sd cards. I only get paid once a month.

Pretty much any wired USB controller will work. I use the Logitech Dual Action controllers. (Sense they match the console) they work great. Or any controller that supports X-input or Direct Input are compatible as well. Including USB Arcade sticks. I use those for the arcade games and haven't had any issues.

Also, the controllers that come with it aren't very good. I would suggest any other USB controller. Like a wired Xbox 360 pad or really any other controller that has a USB connection.

I read a lot of complaints about the controllers I've contacted the seller but like you said I think I'll invest in some decent ones. I just turned it on for the first time and tried it I didn't configure anything as I don't really know how to do that, not a huge gamer I just wanted to play all the arcade stuff that I loved from back in the day but I'll dig into that and figure it out. Did you press any buttons while it was booting? If not then maybe the micro sd card might be corrupted. Might need to re-flash the image of emuelec for android boxes on it. Try and reach out to the seller first for the image file. They may be able to provide a download link.

You can... but it seems to only take those generic pads that come with their own dongle. So I just stick to the wired Xbox, Logitech, or generic USB wired pads. Better success with wired USB for sure.

Hello 👋🏾. You might be able to use the 8bitdo wireless receiver. It has a USB cable that let's you plug into PCs and the like. There's a version that let's you sync to ps4 controllers, Xbox controllers, etc. Check their website for them.

For MAME it usually defaults as select button. But you can change it in the backend of the emulator. If you press Select and the top face button. Once there you just have to look for the input configuration.

Ciao. Dal menu principale premi il pulsante Start, vai su Impostazioni di gioco, quindi vai su Aggiorna elenchi di giochi. Scegli "Sì" quando ti viene chiesto di confermare. Potrebbe volerci un momento per eseguire questa operazione. Una volta completato, prova a controllare l'elenco dei giochi per vedere se vengono visualizzati e, soprattutto, se vengono avviati. A parte questo non ne sono sicuro. Spero che aiuti.

Hello friend! look, it's been a real pain to make my arcade box work, seriously, I only could make some games work and I haven't managed to install the bios, cores, etc. I'm almost losing hope :( . I ask you with all of my hearth. Could you make an Image archive (.img or .iso) of your arcade box's SD card and make it available for download? It would save my life. I hate to bother, but I spent days working on the arcade box and a had little result.

Hey there! 👋🏾 I sure can. If you press start and select at the same time twice while in a game time that should take you back tot he main menu. Also to remap your gamepad, while on the main menu press start and there should be a 'controller settings' option there. Press 'A' or (right face button) on that and then press it again on 'configure a controller', then it will prompt you to 'hold the A button' to start. Press each corresponding key with the lighted diagram and follow along. *It assumes that you're using a super nintendo pad so keep in mind that the face buttons are opposite of what that are on Xbox/PS.* If you map it top level like this it pretty much maps everything thing else as needed. But in some cases you need to map games from the emulator level. To do this, while in game press 'select and the top face button (either X, Y, or 🔺️ depending on the controller)' at the same time. The emulators differ, so mine is retro arch. Once in press 'B' then go to 'settings' and then 'input'. Move down to 'port 1 controls' and press 'A'. From there you can 'set all controls' or set them manually as you need. Just remember to save the config. You can save it per game or overall for that emulator. But again doing this from the main menu of the system works best, it should handle the rest for you. The only ones I had to change things with were MAME and Sega Naomi for the most part. Everything else was mapped automatically after I did it on the main menu level. I can do a video on this if that helps better. Just let me know and I'll do my best to squeeze in time. Cheers buddy.

You can. But its so fully loaded that you might have to delete some things...some of the ps1 RPGs should do the trick since they are so large. I would back them up before deleting though. If you take the micro SD card out and plug it into a reader on the PC you'll see a folder with the roms categorized by each system. You can drop the roms for Atari Jaguar in its respective folder. A bios may be needed though. There should be a location for that as well. It's similar to retro pie I believe so I would look up some info on that. I haven't tried Jaguar emulation on this type of system before so my info is limited.

Sounds like the resolution might have been changed somehow. It might be possible to find some settings on the micro SD card if you have a reader to check it on PC. I've never encountered that issue though.

What kind of controller are you trying to use? Wired controllers seems work best to be honest. The Arcade Box Game Console that comes with wireless controllers are pretty generic and have their own dongle so I believe it may only work with 2.4 GHZ controllers that have their own dongle as opposed to Bluetooth. For that reason I stick to the wired USB controllers and haven't had any issues. I've never tried to connect these to the internet, but if I did it would be directly through ethernet. The firmware image of what was originally on these boxes seems to be rather locked in and can't really be customized too much. Have you tried to contact the seller about it?

No. It came from Amazon. I have a new controller with wire. And it sinks in an then it's like stuck on keyboard tho. I have wireless too I bought a Xbox controller just don't show up on controller settings. And I reset everything on arcade box too I need you to send me a new sd card with everything on it. Have you found a way to add Roms on this box yet?

Certainly. If you take the micro SD out and have a reader for it, once you connect to your computer and open the root of the micro SD there should be a roms folder there. Inside that folder there should be a folder for each system. You can drag the roms/isos over into those respective folders. Now it's important to note that this thing has over 33,000 roms already preloaded and it's filled to the brim. So you'll need to delete some of the larger games to make some space. How do we save games? I have an Arcade Box, but the only console with working saves is Dreamcast. Every other console can't save. Saves just don't work. That's tens of tousands of useless games without saves. Can't even play Mario World. Anybody found a solution?

My saves are working fine. I haven't come across that issue. What about save states? Those are more reliable anyhow. Press Select+Top Face Button and that should bring up the back end of the emulator and then choose save state in whichever slot you prefer. Maybe there was a setting that was changed somehow that disables native saving... I'd have to look into it. But for the meantime save/load states works best.

@@snoleygames Wow you can save games? So it's just me then? Huh. Could the SD card be full? Save states don't work either. Well actually they do work, but only until I leave the game and go back to the Arcade Box menu. Then, if I restart the same game, there are no saves. It's as if I was starting the game for the first time. As I said, the Dreamcast saves work perfectly. But on every other console they don't work. I have no clue what to do

When you're in game, press Select + Top Face Button (Triangle, Y, or the equivalent) at the same time and then you'll see save state/load state options.I hope this helps friend. Cheers.

Which controller are you using? If you are using an arcade stick if you map it according to the SNES layout if should be universal and carry over. @SuperMQuigley Yeah, it should all be relatively to its location. Just have to map it accordingly based on the layout. There should be no hindrances. It's definitely covered in that stream. Around 11:40 or so. The main mapping for the original mapping out of box is in the beginning of the stream. If you need that one too.

As far as I can find this arcade box only supports 2.4G Wireless technology as far as wireless controllers go. So I would say 2.4G wireless controllers that have their own dedicated dongle. I wasn't able to find any other alternatives. I hope this helps.

With every game? Or just select titles? N64 can be pretty hit or miss. This box does have its flaws, like many other emulation boxes. Have you tried the other built in emulators that it comes with?

Hello. It depends on what you set your hotkey to when you mapped the controller. It's usually Start + Select twice at the same time. If you can't remember, try Start + any other key until it lets you out. A prompt should let you know to press the two buttons again to exit.

How do you add and remove games to favorites?

Pardon my delay, when you highlight a game that you want to add to favorites press 'Y' (left face button). It will be added in two places. The top of the list of that set of games in that particular list for said system (marked with a 'star' in front), and in the actual favorites section. If you want to remove it from favorites highlight the game from the favorites section and press the same button ('Y'/left face button). FYI, the favorites section holds all games that you've marked as favorite, no matter which system it is.
