Very good tips. I've played virtual snooker games a lot because playing snooker here in Finland is a bit expensive and not that many tables either. I also watch snooker as much as I can. From the mobile games and watching top pros play I've learned the professional way of break building in terms of shot selection and cue ball control but obviously implementing those skills on a real table is more difficult. I played in my first tournament (it was a 6 red tournament) a few weeks ago and I did notice that the pressure really starts to build up when it gets to the stage with one red or less balls remaining. Even if I knew I was the better player it was difficult to deal with the pressure of possible playing your last shot every time. Also noticed that even if you're relatively comfortable and confident when practicing, every shots just feels missable in an actual match. I was the "new guy" and not expected to win anybody but I just put too much pressure on myself because I knew my game and technique was well good enough to win every guy out there. The thing is though you can never practice the match situation and dealing with pressure but these tips are very important to keep in mind alonside trusting the technique you've put the work on to.

You have so many great videos ! I think my wife is getting fed up now as I always cast them to the TV 😂😂 just ordered a break from life shirt. Will be interesting to see if any fellas at the club recognize it !

I hope so. Though hopefully it gets to you a little bit quicker than the last guy. It was 3 and a bit weeks later before his hat turned up. Though it was sent via DHL to the middle of Slovakia. But thanks for buying it although by the sound of it you may need a new TV soon as well

Mate, grateful for your advice way to improve consistency as my accuracy and sense of potting is like come and go. Apart from more practice, what else would help?

Mostly attention to detail on the things you actually have control of

Are there any videos explaining the difference in cue tip sizes and how they might affect your game? Thanks
@Breakfromlife6 жыл бұрын
No but generally for Snooker you want between 9mm for slightly more spin and 11mm for slightly more accuracy

Break from life thanks buddy. I’m pretty new to the game and brought an quite expensive cue (9mm)... my potting was poor, the striking of the cue ball was all over the place.. Then I tried playing with my old pool cue, and it feels 1 million times better! It’s a shame I get frowned upon using a pool cue in a snooker hall haha!
