Personally I’d say the most iconic mark williams shot is the shot to nothing plant off the bottom cushion potting the red over the middle. Unbelievable vision

Thats my favourite shot of Ronnies but you could also have chosen the cannon to free the last red in the 147 against Williams. Both absolutely iconic.

That cannon was insane.
@mrD66M Жыл бұрын
The cannon was the best, there just wasn't enough angle for him to make it, it had to be forced... unreal

If John Higgins had finished that 147 against Judd Trump that would've been the masterpiece of his career. That double was so beast, and Judd Trump willing him on to finish the 147 is real sportsmanship

@snejpu2508 Жыл бұрын
For me, the most iconic shot from Mark Williams is when he played the red on the black on the spot deliberately in order to pot this red after the contact to the left corner pocket. And for Mark Selby it could be shot from the World Championship final when he splitted the pack from the blue after 3 cushions. It could have been against Ding, but I'm not sure.

Yes, I thought the same but either way good choice. Selbys shot was against Ronnie in the final frame of the 2014 WC.

for Selby i would have said the snooker he got on the blue against Dott but a treble during a maximum was pretty good too for Willams i would have gone with the plant double off the baulk cushion to knock the red over the right middle in, but the simple pink he potted and then asked Desi to clean is his most memorable moment for me Trump im surprised you found a shot that wasnt a deep screw or round 5 cushions but that one was pretty good Ronnie that left hand deep screw is insane even if it wasnt during a maximum those 4 probably deserve a video each if you are after video ideas

Choosing a single shot for players on the tour for years or even decades would always be tough, but I'd say some of these shots are as good / better: Neil - deep screw red to green pocket at the Masters (think it's against Judd), screwed all the way back down to round the black spot... Judd - somewhat similar shot as the one you got, but again John in Northern Ireland Open - it even got John nodding in appreciation (the frame still live when he played that shot) Ali - would pick that 2008 final shot against Ronnie, using the jaws to hit the snookered red on the top cushion John - again I probably picking on occasion, but for me it's that dead-weight read to right middle against Ronnie in 2005 Masters Final, in the deciding frame when he was like 60-0 behind. Mark Williams - like quite a few people I think that shot against Barry is the best, or certainly the most iconic Mark Selby - the shot you had probably the most iconic, but the long blue against Ding when at the same time cannon the reds out are pretty special as well (2017 WSC SF). That's the year where Mark decided to stop being tactical and basically pot everything
@daveho2230 Жыл бұрын
As for Gary, I think those 2 snooker escapes against Luca at the decider (2019 WSC 1st round) deserves an honorary mention.
@RandomIndyWrestling Жыл бұрын
Im surprised the Mark Williams shot from 2018 WSC where plays the red onto the bottom cushion and onto the red over the middle wasnt the one. Played with smarts, dead weight, left nothing on. Much better than a fluke

I'm fairly sure Robertson knew the red wasn't going to the left corner, and he tried to play the white for the red into the right corner. That's why he's visibly disappointed after the shot. Also, I'm a bit sad Maguire is not in the top 16 anymore, I would love to see the recreation of his cushion-rolling shot against Robertson.

I don't think this "criminally-good" shot of Trump is his best ever. Actually, there are many from Trump that can be called his best ever. The true best ever of Trump is the one against Higgins, when he was going for a maximum on the 14th red down the table, with the commentator saying that: "there is only one person on earth who can make this red, move the other, and still make the white come back to the black; and that person is right now at the table, ladies and gentlemen". And he actually makes it as described. Let me see you replicating this one.

When i think of Judd's most iconic shot it has to be either: his patented 5 cushion black->yellow, or that red to black with taking other red off cushion in 147 attempt vs Higgins( i believe same match You chose for Higgins shot) About Williams: it has to be either one handed snooker escape or any of his under arm shots
