I still remember, in MMFF 1981 awards night, The Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos won as the Best Actress award for Karma and she's not around to accept the award. It was Chanda who received the award on behalf of Vilma. Then according to Chanda, in FAMAS Awards 1982, the same scenario was happened when she won the Best Supporting Actress award for Karma also and it was Vilma who received the award for her. See the turn of event. 😊

Chanda was a good singer before she shifted to acting. High school pa ako noon nababasa ko na sya as a singer,may ka duet sya noon. My most favorable movies of her were Woking Girls, Saan Darating ang Umaga at Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin. D ko napanood mga ibang great movies nya nang nasa college na ako.
