Just wanted to suggest watching The Fosters if you really want to start the show from the beginning. Good Trouble is a spin off of The Fosters. It does do a good job of not confusing the audience, but the fosters gives the whole story too

The chef in me just wanted to let you know that the part you “deveined” was a vein, not their poop. The part that has the poop is on top of the shrimp. You could take a pairing knife and and cut open the top and then use the knife, finger, or run under water to remove it. Sometimes there’s nothing, but yeah. Just wanted to let you know for future reference 😅🤩

I was thinking the same thing. I knew there was a vein underneath but always did the one on the top of the shrimp and wondered if I should do the bottom.. good to know a chef's opinion since there has been training in that area! Also, if chef could answer.. I have a bag of frozen gulf shrimp (I live in Texas).. but it tastes muddy to me.. is this normal?? Thanking you in advance.

@@connieb4372 If it smells kind of like the ocean musty, you are good. You can just rinse them under water to defrost. And season them nicely so it doesn’t taste fishy haha. But if it smells moldy then I would just throw them away just to be on the safe side.

Hi Rachel (girlfriend if you see this pass it on) Are you exporting to an external hard drive instead of your computer? If so, it usually takes much longer (idk the science). A possible fix is exporting to your computer, uploading from there, and then moving it to the external hard drive. Hope this helps!
