so my guess she holds that yelena holds that guinea pig bc she saved it from the lab that she was assigned to destroy hence the explosion. val is the villain and she uses the sentry as her puppet to take control of his power and manipulate it to her advantage

Dark Avengers were all villains literally pretending to be avengers , Norman Osborn as Iron Patriot , Scorpion as Symbiote Spider-Man , Bullseye As Hawkeye , An Evil Kree as Ms Marvel Who's now known as Captain Marvel nowadays .
