This game is actually a Donald Duck game in Japan but because Capcom had the Disney video game rights in the US at the time it was changed into Snoopy in the NES version.

This is why this game was released in Japan for the Famicom as "Donald Duck" since Capcom had the rights to the Disney licensed games, so Kemco decided to changed it to "Snoopy" as "Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular" and add some sprites to the games. Kemco made so many changes when it was released in the US avoid the Disney licensed characters since Capcom had the rights. For example, "Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle" for the NES was originally titled "Roger Rabbit" for the Famicom Disc System in Japan since they already made an NES game called "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and it was by LJN and it was a horrible game. The movie was excellent, and the game was all bad.

Play some Metal Slug, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Tenchu (if you all haven't already played it), Fighting Force, Syphon Filter, and/or Driver, or even some Marvel Versus Capcom, and better yet Killer Instinct with some Road Rash 3D.
